Separate Lives

Ben comes home from Africa today.  He's been gone a month.  One of his merry-go-rounds is somewhere underneath this happy group of children.  Can you imagine the energy they generate?  They use that power to charge lanterns to study by at night.
I go to the site of the old Provo Tabernacle three or four times a week -- I have no life anymore!  Right now the tabernacle is balanced on piers.  I love watching what's going on, and I'm keeping a blog of the work.  At some point these stilts will be buried in the ground and people will forget the effort it took to turn this beautiful pioneer building into a temple.
It will be nice to be under the same roof again, though.  Besides, I need Ben to fix a few things.  A smoke detector which will not stop beeping no matter how many batteries I feed it, for one thing.  You know -- it's the little things that make a marriage work.
