Aunt Mary's Beach House

My sister Mary has a beach house in Surfside.
It is the white house on the left.
Before Hurricane Ike,
we couldn't see the Gulf from this vantage point,
but Ike removed quite a few homes.
Unfortunately, the view is much better now.
The water on the right is actually a street.
The "beach" that is visible in front of the row of homes
is actually yards and driveways covered with four feet of sand.
There is no power, sewer or water in Surfside right now.
The good news is Mary and Dave's Lake Jackson homes are fine,
complete with electricity, and they are all back home.

Raise Shields!

Along with the chocolate fudge mousse ice cream we bought at the Creamery last night, we bought BYU chocolate milk.  Big hit, is all I can...
